Coffee
The New Mukka Express from Bialetti is the first, fully patented 'Stove-Top Cappuccino' maker.
Simply add water to the lower chamber and fill the filter with ground espresso, then add milk to the top pitcher. Then place on the stove top and as the water boils to make the coffee, the resulting steam is passed through the milk to froth it. Simple as that!
A push-button valve easily adjusts for making cappuccino or latte.
We've not had a chance to test the Mukka Express yet - but we're told it will make 2 mugs of cappuccino or café latte in just 5 minutes. Beat that sbux!

Utensils
Those crazy Swedish designers, look what they've come up with now... a credit card sized garlic grater. The Garlic Card is a patterned card of plastic especially designed to grate garlic cloves. This (should) result in a perfect puree and an easily washable card. Available from, er, all good design museums in every primary colour you can think of.

Wagamama has been voted most popular London restaurant in the Zagat guide to London restaurants 2006. They have come out on top over exclusive restaurant names such as Nobu, the Ivy and the Gordon Ramsay empire. Personally though I am puzzled as to how a chain of restuarants can head the list.. but hey it's a great chain and perhaps this will help it push into the US.
Full List:
1. wagamama branches
2. nobu, w1
3. the ivy, w2
4. gordon ramsey at claridge's w1
5. j sheekey, wc2
6. gordon ramsey at 68 royal hospital road, sw3
7. zuma, sw7
8. hakkasan, w1
9. square, w1

Airline Food
Have you ever wondered what food you can expect to be server on at least 460 airlines. Not have we, but the web being the peculiar place it is has served up Airlinemeals which does exactly that. You can browse at your leisure over 13,000 photos from over 460 airlines. But it doesn't stop there - you can also see meals from airline lounges, airport restaurants, crew meals, this site is obsessed with food for the skys! My personal favourite is the airline food (of course) advertising through the ages.
The New York Times (amongst many others) have even written an article about the site...
